WRITING: MY EASTER HOLIDAYS

I enjoywd a lot these Easter HOlidays! I spent a lot of time with my friends and I also did some different activities like going to the cinema or to parties.

In the fist weekend, I relaxed a lot because I didn't have any homework to do. During the week I did some different activities: I went to la Draga with my friends , I traveled to Barcelona and I went to the cinema too.

In general, I think that these Easter holidays have been very positive to relax and recharge our energy, but I must say one important thing: THEY ARE TOO SHORT HOLIDAYS!

WRITI NG: TAJ MAHAL

Taj Mahal building is located in Agra, India. It was built by 20000 people and by some Asian or Persian architects. It was built up between 1632 and 1644. This beautiful place was built like a mausoleum for the sultan's wife, Arjumand Bagu Bagam, when she died.

The Place is made out of marble and some jewels in the exterior wall. From the outside, you can see the large garden which encircles it. Inside, it's also fantastic: there are some mosques and a big mausoleum.

I've never visited Taj Mahal because I've never been in India. But if some day I go there, I'm absolutely shure that I'm going to visit Taj Mahal.

GIVING ADVICE

Dear Sandra
One of my friends has started acting quite strangely. She's always looking for money and she sometimes misses school. She's going out with a guy, Steve, who I don't know very well. Steve doesn't speak to me when the three are together and he looks me very angrily. I don't really know what's happening. What's your advice?

Dear Clare,

Don't be worried. If I were you, I would to try to talk with your friend, because I think that she has a problem. If she don't listen to you, you must talk to her parents and tell them the problem abut the guy, Steve.

I think that you also should talk to the guy about your friend, asking him about the real reasons of Clare's school misses and asking about the money too.

As for a guy's angrily looking, don't be worried. It's probably that Steve doesn't know you well and he probably thinks that you are unfriendly.

WRITING: IN THE FUTURE

In my opinion everything will cange in the future. Humans will be more intelligent and healthier than now, because we'll be more medicines and medical attentions. I belive that not everything will be good in the future , because we won't be able to control our pollution and maybe we won't have enough water for the entire world.

I think it's imortant that we protect our environment. If we don't keep it safe, we won't survive in this beautiful planet. It's also probable that other races or extraterrestrial people colonise us.

In general I feel positive about the future. But it depends of our actions and our responsibility. We'll have to protect this blue planet!

Dear Sir or Madam,

This letter talks about my new busniess, Funny Discotheque. I want to demand a credit for the initial costs of my business. I would like to talk about the conditions and to get some informaiton

Funny Discotheque is a new enterprise for young peole. It's a place where younsters can enjoy, dance and meet friends. At the moment there is only one Funny Disotheque, but in the future I would like to have more locals.

I am available in the afternoons from five o'clock to nine o'clock from Monday to Friday. I'm looking forward to hear from you.

CLARA'S SWIMMING PAGE

Swimming was invented many years ago, since the civilitzations of Greece and Rome. This sport has been practised by the Roman soldiers in his diary training. Now, there are more than thousands swimming competitions. Now it is one of most popular water sports in the world.

Among the most important and international swimming competitions are the Olympic Games. Swimming is only one part of this enormous championship. Scince 1912 women started to participate at this competition and now there are also a feminine categories

Gertrude Caroline Ederle is one of my favorite competitors. She was the first woman to cross the English Channel.

A SURVIVOR'S STORY

When I was five, I was in Thailand with my parents. We were on holiday and we were staying in the hotel's balcony when every thing started to move! There wa an earthquake! Some people started to run and shouting, there was panic.

It lasted about 30 seconds and it suddenly stopped. It destroyed some public buildings and houses. The next moment people started to help others and rescued some wounded people.

Afterwards, rescue teams started to clean the city and some hours later there was calm again. It was a terrible experience, but it was not too bad because there weren't any death people

In my picture the principal colours are blue and black because they're opposite. I also think that I'm a little rebellious person, I love uproars.

There's a photo of me with my friends in the extreme of the collage. In this photo we're staying in Banyola's lake. We like a lot to take photos because they let you see reality in a paper.

There area other friends, places and objects in my picture. You can see that I' interested in funny babys' photos and you also can see one of the best parts of my life: my friends.

MY SUMMER 2008

What about my last summer? It was great!
First, the last days of June I slept a lot, because I was very tried. Then, in July, I went out a lot with my friends: In the afternoons we went to "La Draga" or from time to time we went to different parties or to very funny activities.

In August, I travelled with my sister to Mallorca. We enjoyed there a lot, because we usually went to the beach, swimming or travelling on a boat. We spent there about ten days. I love Mallorca.

In the rest of my holidays, I met again my friends and I prepared the next school year.
